Fluke Calibration is voluntarily notifying customers of a required set up procedure in order to prevent 9938 software from waiting for a command and to prevent the 159X from not sending a response, which is causing the heat source to continue heating until the cut out temperature is reached. Fluke Calibration is voluntarily notifying customers of the upgrade of all 1523/1524 Reference Thermometers with firmware revision less than 1.05. This includes all units manufactured prior to April 2012. All units being sent to a service center for repair or recalibration will automatically be upgraded to firmware revision 1.05.
