How to Properly Use and Maintain Temperature Fixed-Point Cells to Correctly Establish Traceability
Fixed-point cells are the lowest uncertainty temperature reference standards available today, producing uncertainties as low as 0.00002 °C. However, when they are not used and maintained properly, errors on the order of 0.020 °C or larger can occur. Due to these risks, current quality standards and international directives have special requirements for correctly establishing their traceability.
Watch this webinar now to learn about potential fixed-point cell errors and how to avoid them. Also, quality standards will be discussed to ensure you know and understand current industry best practice. The webinar will cover primary standard fixed-points, secondary (mini) fixed-points, and special considerations for the water triple-point fixed-point and how it is handled for maintaining accuracy of reference thermometers.
